We do ALL the work. We even provide substitute instructors when needed so there is no interruption to class schedules.

Not your traditional water aerobics class.....this is a POOL PARTY. An hour packed class of Zumba fun in the water. Easy on the joints and suitable for ALL fitness levels.

Ready to fine tune your body’s engine? This boot camp is an outdoor fitness program designed to take your fitness level to an elevated level by focusing on improving cardiovascular stamina, increasing muscle tone and strength, and decreasing body fat. The program is suitable for all fitness levels and will be tailored to meet your individual needs. Get ready to challenge and shape your body because Boot Camp is starting!

Join us for a highly interactive and gently structured variety dance class. Enhance your child’s trust in their own creative expression as they enjoy a dance experience with kid friendly music and easy to follow moves . Through an array of dance activities including games, rhythm songs, and group activities students will enjoy the many physical and social benefits of group dance.

Kids Fitness classes are designed to meet the needs of preschoolers and big kids.

Fitness the whole family can do! We're mixing it up each week with a variety of formats including kickboxing, yoga, Zumba, Obstacle courses, and more! What could be a better way to promote a healthy lifestyle than exercising as a family? Now is your chance to get the whole family involved!

Includes gentle flexibility exercises to improve your range of motion; strength training exercises to enhance overall muscle tone, bone density, and balance.

Active Older Adult Classes (55+) are designed to improve your health, flexibility, and strength by targeting the whole body without harsh stress on the joints and muscles. All formats of our classes can be modified to meet your needs. Our instructors understand that active older adults may have knee, hip, shoulder, or other issues and we’re here to make fitness work for you and your needs.

Yoga geared to the active older adult...a gentle approach to work with your individual level. This yoga class will focus on gentle, effective stretching that can help maintain joint flexibility and prevent injury. Stretching can also help improve muscle tone and help you relax, both physically and mentally. Work at your individual level as the instructor guides you through a series of postures. Appropriate for those new to Yoga and those familiar with traditional poses.

Active Older Adult Classes (55+) are designed to improve your health, flexibility, and strength by targeting the whole body without harsh stress on the joints and muscles. All formats of our classes can be modified to meet your needs. Our instructors understand that active older adults may have knee, hip, shoulder, or other issues and we’re here to make fitness work for you and your needs.

A total body workout that incorporates kicks, punches, and combinations used in martial arts and boxing together with effective athletic drills.

 

In this class your kids will get the exercise they need to grow healthy, strong and fit, all while having a blast in an exciting, non-competitive, social atmosphere. The focus is on age-appropriate sports skill development in a continuous circuit of fun. Using a combination of obstacle courses, entertaining games, challenging drills and sports activities your kids will leave here sweaty, stronger, and laughing. Fast paced fun and full of life, KidsFit Fun is all about mixing it up!

Kids Fitness classes are designed to meet the needs of preschoolers and big kids.

Yoga with your preschooler offers children and adults the opportunity todevelop self awareness, build strength, flexibility, and coordination as well a way to deal with stress and create an inner peace together.

Innovate your life by adding fitness into the mix. New Beginnings fitness class is the perfect class for those new to exercise, those getting back into exercise, and those hesitant or reluctant to exercise in a group setting. Let our instructors get you moving on the path to a healthier, happier, and more fit you. This 60 minute class is tailored to meet your needs by combining intervals of cardio and strength training. In this class you will burn calories and tone problem areas in addition to improved posture, reduction in stress, and a guaranteed elevation in energy.

Pilates is a body conditioning routine that seeks to build flexibility, strength, endurance, and coordination without adding muscle bulk. In addition, Pilates increases circulation, helps sculpt the body, and strengthen the body's core (abdominals and torso). Regular participants of Pilates have better posture, improved balance, become less prone to injury, and feel they have improved overall health. Appropriate for all levels.

A gentle stretching class to increase your flexibility and freedom of movement that will help you do more of the activities you enjoy. This class offers stretching that can be done standing and/or seated with focus on controlled stretching and muscle strengthening.

Tai Chi offers a self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. To do tai chi, you perform a series of postures or movements in a slow, graceful manner. Each posture flows into the next without pausing. Anyone, regardless of age or physical ability, can practice tai chi. It doesn't take physical prowess. Rather, tai chi emphasizes technique over strength.

Working out in water provides natural resistance and an oppotunity to burn some calories! We'll bring out all the "toys" noodles, dumbbells, balls, and kickboards for an hour of water fun.

(Currently offered at Virginia Heritage, Celebrate by Del Webb, Summer time will also offered at Alexander Heights, Regency Villas, Spotsylvania and Fredericksburg City Parks and Rec.)

A traditional water aerobics class combing cardio and strength with the addition of Pilates like stretching to elongate and strengthen the muscles in a non-impact environment.

Learn to use the fitness center at your facility with a certified instructor on hand. You will be guided through a one hour workout each week combining cardio and strength machines for a total body workout. A personal training approach in a group fitness setting!

This class will improve your strength, flexibility and concentration. Work at your individual level as the instructor guides you through a series of standing, seated, and lying postures. Appropriate for those new to Yoga and those familiar with traditional poses.

A Latin infused dance party so fun you'll forget your working out. Hot music and easy to follow choreography, Zumba is the perfect workout for all fitness levels. No dance skills required just a desire to have fun and burn calories.

Taking your Zumba class and adding resistance (toning sticks) for overall strength training. Strength and cardio all in one hour? Yep- you've never had this much fun getting in shape!
