Gentle Yoga

Yoga geared to the active older adult...a gentle approach to work with your individual level. This yoga class will focus on gentle, effective stretching that can help maintain joint flexibility and prevent injury. Stretching can also help improve muscle tone and help you relax, both physically and mentally. Work at your individual level as the instructor guides you through a series of postures. Appropriate for those new to Yoga and those familiar with traditional poses.

Active Older Adult Classes (55+) are designed to improve your health, flexibility, and strength by targeting the whole body without harsh stress on the joints and muscles. All formats of our classes can be modified to meet your needs. Our instructors understand that active older adults may have knee, hip, shoulder, or other issues and we’re here to make fitness work for you and your needs.
